Honey Blossom Cooking specializes in nutrient-dense, flavorful meals.   Not only are these meals hearty, satisfying and comforting, but also they will leave you feeling light.  Finally, you'll have a curated culinary experience based on your dietary preferences and needs in the comfort of your home. 

 About Melissa 
My name is Melissa and I am the owner of Honey Blossom Cooking. I have always loved to eat and explore the world through food. As a teenager, I became interested in nutrition and eating healthfully. However, my pursuit of a healthy, balanced regimen went awry at times as I found myself trying fad diets and unsustainable meal plans. I got into vegetarianism by way of processed foods—think mass-produced, frozen veggie burgers. Eventually, the connection between diet and health became clearer to me. By my 20s, I started collecting recipes and learning more about food and cooking. I discovered Dr. Furman’s book Eat to Live, which promotes a nutrient-dense, plant-based diet. I followed the program for 6 weeks, lost weight and had a lot of energy. Moreover, I got a better understanding of nutrition and how the body works. Reading this book sent me down the rabbit hole of food and nutrition. I eventually became a certified health coach to gain more wisdom on the topic of healthy living.

I have been in business for 10 years and have experience with a wide variety of diets (Kosher, Vegan, AIP, Paleo and many more). I continually educate myself on the latest nutrition science and emerging diets to achieve better health outcomes. Food is medicine, and it also connects us to culture and memories, and good food can bring pleasure and delight to the soul. I do my best to weave all these truths together and present them on a plate.
